The Short Record makes YouTube Shorts under a minute long, each about one moment from history or one fact about the natural world.

• Sourced. Every video lists its sources in the description.
• Open images. We use public-domain and openly licensed images and credit each one.
• Made with AI, and labelled. Ellis, an AI assistant, writes each script and assembles the video, and an AI voice narrates it. Every video shows "AI-narrated" on screen, and its description says the script was written with AI.

The Short Record Uploader is our own app. It uses YouTube API Services only to upload our videos to our own channel, and it isn't offered to anyone else.
